GreenPower Motor Company manufactures a complete range of heavy- and medium-duty electric vehicles, which include models with lower and high floors.  have a peek at this web-site  & Chassis is their most popular vehicle and can be adapted to suit a variety of applications. The platform's design philosophy of clean sheets allows for the optimal placement of battery packs and lower center of gravity resulting in better payload-to-range ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX was developed for mid-to-last mile refrigerated deliveries and catering applications. The refrigerated trucks in class 4 have a single interior wall structure and a higher insulation level than traditional trucks, allow for seamless sanitation and better temperature control. They also have a longer life span. The EV Star REEFERX provides superior cargo capacity and an industry leading payload to range ratio for zero-emission goods and passenger transportation.

GreenPower has partnered with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system. This will allow fleets to seamlessly change to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star is also capable of wireless charging up to 75 kW.

green power scooters  had the chance to test the EV9 for a few hours on a local freeway, and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The ride is smooth on bumps and ruts, while the EV9 does a great job of reducing the sound of traffic and wind on the highway. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly quick, and it has adjustable regenerative brakes that allow "one-pedal driving" simply by taking off the accelerator.

The EV9 provides a large range and can be charged within three hours or less at home, or by using any commercial charger. Drivers can select between two operating modes that include eco mode and sports mode. Eco mode focuses on torque and cruise control, while the sport mode maximizes speed and handling. Both are fun to drive and offer an unique experience for anyone that has not driven an electric vehicle before.

GreenPower offers several other eVehicles which include a multi-purpose electric minibus dubbed the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used for executive shuttles, microtransit and transit vanpools, buses, or paratransit vehicles.

GreenPower is already producing around 10 EV Star buses per month for the Jacksonville Transit Authority, which is working to replace their fleet of old diesel vehicles with 100 all-electric vehicles. With the Biden Administration looking to electrify school buses nationwide, GreenPower plans on ramping production to meet the demand. Their EV Star buses are the first of their kind to be Altoona tested and FMVSS certified. They are Buy America compliant, and ADA certified. This makes them eligible for federal transit grants.
